New Server IP and World reset!
IP: mc.provgn.com:25565

Our mission is to create A multi user PVP world filled with Dungeons, PVP, Guilds, and Raiding!
DHRPG is as much as possible, within the confines of Minecraft, in an effort to custom create a world which will be the stage for a enjoying server. In pursuit of this endeavor we aim to provide a friendly and encouraging atmosphere for our creative community at all times. To accomplish this we use online forums ,this wiki , a dynamic map , teamspeak , a custom launcher , in addition to hundreds of online resources that we use to learn as much as possible about the world we are building. Most importantly, we are a community of people dedicated to both our loves for Minecraft and the Dragonheart Text Based Multi User Dungeon, and use this project as a way to explore our relevant interests.

Over the years we found that we were slowly pushing the limits of what a traditional Minecraft game could handle, and decided we needed to develop our own launcher in order to handle our constantly growing needs. A launcher is a program designed to 'launch' an application, such as Minecraft. As long as you have a legal copy of the Minecraft game, you should be able to use our launcher without issue. You can purchase a digital copy of Minecraft here . The launcher enables us to expand our inventory of custom blocks, provide everyone with easy-access to our custom texture pack, and to be able to implement roleplaying elements into the game which could otherwise not exist.

When can I roleplay on the map?
At present, since the absent of plugin updates to the latest minecraft version, (1.13.1) and deciding that since we want to take advantage of all the new map features encluding encryption, we will start with a new random 1.13.1 world. So bear with us for the moment because our spawn is brand new and hand built without the use of commands. Within 10 blocks is the wild where you can build your home. Our...

Welcome to Dragonheart
Our mission is to recreate the multiverse. Dragonheart is an eternal struggle between good and evil, as accurately and precisely as possible within the confines of Minecraft, in an effort to custom create a world which will be the stage for a roleplaying game. In pursuit of this endeavor we aim to provide a friendly and encouraging atmosphere for our creative community at all times. To accomplish this we use online forums ,this wiki , a dynamic map , teamspeak , and a future custom launcher in addition to hundreds of online resources that we use to learn as much as possible about the world we are building. Most importantly, we are a community of people dedicated to both our loves for Minecraft and RPG, and use this project as a way to explore our relevant interests.

Why A Custom Launcher?
DHRPG decided to migrate to a forge based server about a year ago. This decision was made for two primary reasons:
  • Vanilla minecraft has far too many restrictions that prevent us from making the best world we can. One of the examples of use of this is the multitude of custom blocks we have (parchment block, shovel block, crates of fruit, barrels of water, etcetera). We were running out of meta datas to add blocks to, so we decided to make this transition.
  • It allows us to complete freedom in terms of MMORPG modules, plugins, and modifications.

Welcome to my official guide on towns! This guide will hopefully teach you the basics of towny, keeping your residents satisfied, and simply making your town the best! It is worth reading for both newbies and experienced Dragonheart players, as I have much experience being the mayor of Skaldcraft (2nd most popular town in Dragonheart by population in June)

Towny can be a confusing plugin for those who are new to DHRPG and aren't familiar with the plugin. With this guide, towny will be explained in full depth and hopefully help those of you new to the plugin understand!

Starting a Town

To start a town, all you need is 5000 Gold! Gold can be acquired very easily (see our guide on money-making) and you should have enough to start a town in no time. Although it only costs 5000 Gold to create a town, I highly recommend you have more for future town claims and daily upkeeps. In the two towns I have started, I usually like to have around 8,000-10,000 Gold in the bank to start with. This will allow you to to claim several chunks of land for future residents to build on. Before I start my town, I like to have the spawn point built, but that is only personal preferance. Once you have enough Gold and open land to build on, you are ready to create your town. To create your town, stand on your desired town spawn point, and simply type, "/t new insertdesiredtownnamehere." Remember, you can always change your spawn point by typing "/t set spawn" and the town name by typing "/t name inserttownnamehere." Now that you have your town created, its time to deposit money into the town bank.

Daily Upkeeps and Town Claims

As I mentioned earlier, I prefer to have 8000-10,000 Gold before I create a town. This is helpful because you can get right to claiming town chunks after you have named it. For each town claim, towny adds 2 Gold to your daily town upkeep, so make sure you have enough in the town bank to pay taxes. To deposit money in the...
